Summer 2025 is bringing bold, statement-making fashion trends that blend nostalgia with fresh, modern aesthetics. Denim on denim is making a major comeback, with oversized jean jackets, structured corsets, and baggy cargo-style jeans creating effortlessly cool, head-to-toe denim looks. Cheetah print is reclaiming its spot as the ultimate power pattern, with fierce, high-contrast designs on everything from flowy maxi dresses to structured blazers, adding a touch of untamed energy to summer wardrobes. Meanwhile, aquatic/ocean core is diving deep into serene blues, iridescent textures, and wave-like silhouettes, drawing inspiration from the sea’s fluidity and depth. Think mermaid-esque sequins, sheer fabrics that mimic water’s movement, and shell-inspired accessories. Together, these trends create a dynamic mix of edgy, playful, and ethereal styles perfect for summer adventures.
The 2025 color palette is a mix of rich, timeless hues and soft pastels. Burgundy stays strong, a moody staple for summer and fall. Meanwhile, pastels make waves, with Sabrina Carpenter’s ultra-feminine aesthetic pushing butter yellow and baby pink into the spotlight. Balletcore, Y2K nostalgia, and Rococo revival add to the shift. Pantone’s “Mocha Mousse” brings warmth and sophistication, creating a look that feels both romantic and bold.
Trench coats and cardigans are redefining secondhand fashion in 2025, proving that timeless staples never fade. Vintage trench coats, from classic beige to bold leather, bring effortless sophistication, while cozy, oversized cardigans channel nostalgic charm. Thrifted finds add character—worn-in textures, unique buttons, and retro cuts make each piece one of a kind. As sustainability stays in focus, pre-loved layers become the ultimate statement of style and conscious fashion.

Social Media Mini Project
For this project, I developed four engaging social media content ideas to elevate Tailored Thrifts' brand presence. "23 Questions with Tailored Thrifts" is a Vogue-inspired interview giving an inside look at the founder’s personality and vision. "Women’s History Month Reel" celebrates empowerment, featuring customers holding a "Happy WHM" sign while showcasing thrifted pieces. "Songs as Outfits" creatively pairs thrifted looks with popular songs, making fashion more relatable and engaging. "Her Story Through Fashion" highlights women’s style evolution through the decades, merging history with sustainable fashion. These concepts will be structured into a comprehensive marketing campaign deck, detailing execution strategies, content sequencing, and visual inspirations to maximize audience engagement and brand impact.

Brand Campaign Proposal
Restyled is a campaign rooted in creativity, transformation, and the power of personal style. It invites individuals to see thrifted clothing as a blank canvas for self-expression, rather than something secondhand. The focus is on reimagining fashion through curated edits, before-and-after styling content, and community-driven features that showcase how one piece can be worn in completely different ways. With a strong emphasis on storytelling and sustainability, the campaign encourages people to embrace individuality and view thrifting as a bold and stylish choice.
